When we first made our single elimination scheduler, we figured leagues would have a good idea of which team would be ranked where. So, we gave you an AJAX interface to set the rankings if so desired, and then populated the bracket (in real time, of course).
However, as Matt Beck from Kansas pointed out, sometimes you just want to do it all in one spot. Now you can. If you don’t want to mess with the rankings, just scroll down to the bracket and check the box marked “Edit teams manually.” Voila! The box with the team name turns into a drop down menu, and you can change teams from there. When you choose a team different from the one in the box, the two teams swap places. For example, if you have an 8 team bracket and you select the #2 team from the drop down menu that originally had the #1 team, the #1 team and the #2 team will switch spots.
Use it, love it, tell us how we can make it better.
